A video of Picasso on abstract shapes recorded in 1960s is unique in terms of his perception on shapes and till date a great learning tool for many artists. I believe art education is a product with ‘no expiry’ tag, whether learning an old master technique or contemporary art styles.
I took my first online art lesson in 2011. Apart from the resourceful lesson, i simply loved the flexibility to be able to study from any location. I enjoyed the short and long discussions, viewing the lecture as many times and above all my teacher was more into discussion and resolving questions then simply demoing.
Over last 3 years, IFAA International Fine Art Academy has successfully developed a wide course catalogue in fine arts. Studying online allows aspirants to create their own class schedule, balance course work with career, family, and other responsibilities. We’ve a centralised web tool that lets students and faculty easily interact and exchange digital assets. Each course offers a class discussion area where students and instructors can freely exchange thoughts, post work, and provide or receive creative feedback. The discussion area’s sole purpose is to give users and their peers the opportunity to support each other’s mutual development as artists. Future goal is to get all traditional art practises of India and around the world online. Develop more academic techniques inspired by old masters and living artists.
